Juroku Kata Seminar
Juroku kata is a unique kata. Developed by Mabuni Kenwa in 1941, it was designed to introduce his ‘5 Principles of Defence’ or Uke no Go Gensoku. A deceptively simple kata at first glance it contains multiple strategies which collectively make the performance of this kata particularly challenging.
This seminar will be taught by Charles Hunter sensei, 7th Dan Itosu-ryu, Chief instructor of Itosu-Kai Scotland the official representative organisation for Itosu-ryu Karatedo International Federation in Japan.
